Country Manager, Head of Poland

A CEE international warehouse development Company is looking for a country manager.

Location: Warsaw, Poland, time and travelling flexibility required

The Company has landbank in ownership with zoning and permitting to allow construction of additional of more than 300 000sq m. To support further Company growth plans in Poland, we are looking for a suitable candidate for the position of Country Manager.

The Country Manager will be actively involved in:

  • Letting and business development is the focus
  • Acquisitions
  • Finance of the properties
  • Running a team of people responsible for business development, construction, repair and maintenance

In particular:

  • Source potential new acquisition opportunities for both investment and development purposes (from land to income producing assets)
  • Lead tenants’ negotiations and required legal and entitlement work related to development opportunities
  • Supervise a team of technical, asset and property management professionals
  • Hold asset, property and investment management duties related to own Real Estate portfolio in order achieve the maximum value for the assets
  • Bank on an existing network of brokers, banks and authorities

Finance:  

  • Bank financing is required for acquisitions and construction of new properties. The Country Manager, with back-up of the COMPANYs Group CFO, will negotiate with banks the best possible conditions. 

 

  • The current team consists of 4 people, based in Silesia, and will extend soon with a new colleague on the position of Business Developer.
  • The Country Manager will actively be involved in hiring process of new colleagues (project managers, office manager, potentially in the future also a business developer and accountants).
  • The Country Manager will oversee, directly or via the staff, everything from acquisition to pre-development, structuring, commercialization, leasing, delivery and asset management.
  • The Country Manager works closely with a centralized back office team (with support of the HQ in the Czech Republic) throughout the entire acquisition, development and financing process, whereby CEO personally, together with the business development team will be active in boosting the business in Poland.
  • The Country Manager reports to TOP management of the COMPANY group (CEO and Group CFO).
  • The Country Manager is part of TOP30 within the group.

Ideal candidate profile:

Project Manager (Germany)

Current Job Title: Project Manager 

A well-known hotel chain company is looking for a project manager to support in the pipeline delivery, reports and existing portfolio in Central Europe.

The Project Manager will be responsible to support the new hotels and existing portfolio with design schemes, reply to questions regarding standards, prepare PIPs and follow up of renovations. He/She will successfully manage, execute, complete and handover multiple design hotel projects (existing and new building) and will give support to Owning companies.

Reporting to the Area Technical Director, she/he ensures that all projects (existing portfolio and/or pipeline) are delivered following the internal construction control processes (Planning, budget control, design approval, implementation and reporting) and is responsible for the compliance and fulfillment of brand standards and design guidelines.

Main Responsibilities on Pipeline Projects & operating Properties:


- Follow internal procedures manage pipeline projects from start until handover to Operations.
